Afternoon action at PECO/Philadelphia Electric Co mpany (owned by Exelon). Possible action at fossil fuel polluting site TBD .\nThe “Grandparents Walk” will come through Delaware County on Saturday\, June 26th\, stopping to support local environmental health and justice ca mpaigns at the Covanta “trash-to-energy” incinerator in Chester and at the Marcus Hook Industrial Complex. There will be a morning rally at 9 AM at Governor Printz Park in Essington\, PA near Philly airport\, across river from proposed Gibbstown LNG export terminal. Then\, a walk to Chester to s ite of polluting Covanta incinerator\, and a walk to site of Marcus Hook o il refinery. Please come to support these local environmental justice grou ps and welcome the marchers on their way to Wilmington.
