Creek snorkeling sounds like a strange idea… but the underwater world of our rivers and streams is amazing! Snorkeling is one of the most powerful experiences we can have in our local waterways, revealing unexpectedly beautiful sights of our freshwater environments.
Underwater naturalist Keith Williams guides underwater explorations of the Brandywine River at Stroud Preserve. We can expect to see a variety of fish and incredible underwater stream scapes. Natural Lands Trust’s conservation and land management strategies ensure a clean, healthy river at Stroud Preserve, benefiting wildlife and people communities alike.
We’ll provide the snorkeling gear, cookies & lemonade too! Wear clothes that can get wet and shoes that will stay securely on feet in the river. Bring water bottle, beach towel and sunscreen.
Event is for ages 10 and up. All participants will sign a hold-harmless waiver on site. Space is limited. Pre-registration required to reserve your spot. Please complete and submit the secure, on-line registration form below, or call 610-353-5587, ext. 243.
Event fee: $15 per person, for Natural Lands Trust members; $20 per person, for non-members.
