Join us as we plan our next year’s priorities, projects, and events. Everyone is invited – come share your ideas about what we should be working on to make Media a more resilient town, building a stronger community, and building a better future. Projects that may be discussed include creating more local food sources, reducing energy usage, having more collaborative consumption outlets (a Tool Library, perhaps?), having a second “Happiness Week”, and anything else that you and your neighbors would like to see happen. This is our 5th annual January planning session and they are always inspiring and energizing! If you’ve been wanting to get more involved with TTM, this is your chance!
We’ll start at 8:30 am and end at 4 pm. The day will include a review of the past year’s activities and events and some brainstorming sessions around the basic topics of interest (food, energy, economy, events, etc.). Lunch will be a buffet from Shere-e-Punjab in Media which includes meat and vegetarian dishes – please RSVP if you will be having lunch so we know how much to order. Feel free to bring your own snacks; coffee, tea, and water will be provided.
Please RSVP so that we know how many to expect, and be sure to tell us if you would like the Indian food lunch. We will charge $12 for the lunch; any additional donations to help cover the beverage costs are always appreciated.
