Chester Made
What happened in Chester? What happened to Chester? Which leaders made the critical decisions that laid the foundation for the landscape we see today? Do you remember Carla Carrington, William Dandridge, Joan Sudler and Paul Atkinson? Do you know about Chester’s history with environmental racism, military exercises, and Penn’s Landing? Chester Made and The MJ Freed Theater invite you to attend a special MLK Day screening of A Chester Story. Written, directed and produced by Chester Made Program Manager Ulysses “Butch” Slaughter and Chester Made Artistic Director Devon Walls, A Chester Story sheds extensive light on how Chester made what Chester has become. Free and open to the public. Seating is limited. Adult themes and language.
