Chester County Citizens for Climate Protection invites you to join us on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 7:00 PM at West Chester University, Room 301 Recitation Hall, at 35 Rosedale Ave. (please note this is not our usual location!) to participate in our program:
“A Solution for Curbing Carbon Emissions: A Revenue Neutral Carbon Tax” by Dr. Gary Witt, Finance Professor at Temple University & Temple University Representative to Cere’s Investor Network on Climate Risk.
Dr. Witt will present the case for a solution that continues to gain traction – a revenue neutral tax on greenhouse gas emissions. Prior to joining Temple, Dr. Witt worked on Wall Street and with the City of London Group as a researcher and trader and later was a Managing Director at Moody’s. Jan & Alan Rushforth, local owners of a solar business, will join Dr. Witt to provide a local business perspective and actions individuals can take to support a carbon tax.
