New Avenue Foundation (meaningful lives for people with disabilities, including autism) and Sillynut.com (art club for kids – give them a chance and it will pour out of them) are holding a 2-session clay class in Media PA. New Avenue Foundation is a parent-led, grassroots, nonprofit organization comprised of families who are interested in creating more community inclusion opportunities and new housing alternatives for people with disabilities, including autism. We have partnered with a local organization to provide an art class for people on the spectrum. Sillynut’s goal is accommodate young people who wish to explore art further or for the 1st time. This class will focus on clay – pinch, pull, squeeze, shape, and roll! Our goal is to provide a worthwhile activity.
The class will be held on Saturday, May 10th and May 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Middletown Fire Company, Media, PA.
The cost is $25 per session and includes everything – all supplies, refreshments and smocks to wear.
