climate change climate reality community response connecting with Nature Mother Earth resilience

The Kosmos Climate, Consciousness, and Community Summit brings together influential climate thinkers, healers and change-makers – ranging from water protectors and local-economy pioneers, to artists, farmers, spiritual teachers, and more.

Engage in intimate dialogue and reflection as we confront hard truths and our deepest feelings about the converging crises we face on Earth, our home. We will convene in the beautiful, thriving Transition Town of Media, Pennsylvania. This is an engaged community event! Large groups will meet in the modern, fully equipped Fellowship Hall at the First United Methodist Church of Media, with some small-group breakouts and evening events at several venues around town and in our beautiful natural surroundings. Venues are easily walkable and wheelchair accessible.

Our intimate Summit will also coincide with Findhorn Community’s CCC19 Conference, and we will receive streamed Keynotes from Findhorn Community in Scotland, including Bill McKibben, Vandana Shiva, Charles Eisenstein, and Eskimo elder, Angaangaq Angakkorsuaq.

Themes of the Summit

  • Facing climate reality and intersectionality
  • Working with grief | Reconnecting to Mother Earth
  • Renewing our resolve through community
  • Resilience and appropriate response

Register now: $135 all-conference pass, $45 single-day pass. See the Facebook event page for more information.

Final schedule is below. For more detailed information on each day’s events, click on the appropriate links: Day One (Sat), Day Two (Sun), Day Three (Mon).
