Dazzle Dash Alternative Plans for Coronavirus Containment
As we remain ever vigilant about our obligations to our community to mitigate the risk of passing COVID-19, we have made changes to our Dazzle Dash & Family Fun Day event. As a socially responsible school, we have re-imagined this public event to make it a safer experience for our community. Join us for a VIRTUAL RACE promoting mindful living! Proceeds underwrite primary education at MPFS, in support of Meaningful Learning for a Purposeful Life. Thank you for your support.

What is a virtual race?
Virtual races are events (runs/walks) that can be completed by participants anywhere over a range of time. This will allow our runners to participate in our race and the event you’re registered for when we cannot physically run together (3-mile run, 1.5-mile walk, relay, Dazzle kids 75-yard dash or preschool 50-yard dash). This now makes treadmill participation an option! You simply run the distance on your own, and report your results. You can participate from now up until the end of the day on April 4th. Then upload your “race” and times to our dedicated Facebook page with a screenshot from your favorite app or just upload selfies.

Action Needed:
If you’re already registered for Dazzle Dash, please submit your reply to the email sent through RUNSIGNUP by Tuesday, March 17th.

As an independent school since 1876, MPFS has the freedom to develop and employ programming that reflects the latest research about how children best learn, and to infuse it with values that teach our students what it means to be a part of a global community. This independence has an economic aspect as well: we are entirely self-funded. Our ability to provide the best experience for students has been due, largely, to the philanthropic contributions of our community. This tradition of giving has enabled the school to sustain its mission: providing a transformational education whose end product is critical thinkers who approach life with optimism, integrity, curiosity, and compassion. At MPFS this means Meaningful Learning for a Purposeful Life.
