Presentation 1: Electric Vehicle Grid Management
USA Lightweight vehicles drove 3 trillion miles in 2019 consumed 125 billion gallons of gasoline and produced 1.43 Billion tons of GHGe.
Switching to EVs will cut energy consumption 80% and with renewable energy charging cut emissions by 90%.
Public and private workplaces, parking lots, transit centers, malls, shopping centers, municipal parks, etc. all offer convenient locations for opportunity and destination charging. Depending on the location the correct power of charger needs to be selected to maximize the efficiency of EVs.
Adopting EV to Grid management technologies, which already exist, will make the interaction between renewables, EVs and the grid more energy efficient to save billions of dollars for companies, local governments, and consumers.
