A walk through the gardens and greenhouses of Michael Bowell’s Create A Scene is a delight to all the senses. The variety of smells from the flowers, greens, water, and earth bring about whiffs of Eden. Along the trail, the explorer’s eye finds nooks, sculpted and croaking frogs, cupolas, ponds, trees to the sky and dainty ground cover flowers. A moment’s rest brings the rustle of leaves, bird’s chirps, whistles and caws, rippling waters with a frog’s splash and a garden’s quiet. Many of the growing things taste good as well – one could easily create an edible AND beautiful garden from Michael’s outdoor collection: five acres of scenes. Michael’s house and neighboring house garden are an encapsulation of his entertaining generosity beautifully lit by his partner, Simple. Simple’s garden lighting enables easy conversation or quiet contemplation along with a mixture of intimacy and friendship. Michael’s gardens growing and glowing with Simple’s lighting say “This world is yours – come get it!”
