GMO Free PA presents “KNOW GMOs” and welcomes for the first time in Pennsylvania Jeffrey M. Smith, a leading consumer GMO expert, the director and producer of the new blockbuster documentary film, Genetic Roulette: The Gamble of Our Lives, and author of the world’s bestselling and #1-rated book by the same title, on the health dangers of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). KNOW GMOs takes place on Earth Day, Monday, April 22, 2013, at 6 pm at Old First Reformed UCC Church, 151 N. 4th Street (at Race St.), Philadelphia, PA, 19106. Jeffrey Smith’s presentation “New Evidence of Serious Harm from Genetically Modified Foods” begins at 7 pm followed by a Q & A session and his book signing. This event is free and open to public.

The KNOW GMOs event will host a pre-lecture informational session with two Philadelphia urban farms, Greensgrow Farms and Mill Creek Farm, as well as Landisdale Farm, Lebanon County PA, and their CSA programs, Jeffrey Smith’s books and DVDs, and GMO Free PA’s Education booth displaying educational materials on GMO’s and the their labeling efforts in the State of Pennsylvania.
