Jennifer Pharr Davis is a hiker, author, speaker and National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. She has covered over 12,000 miles of long distance trails on six continents and has hiked with her husband and two year-old daughter in all fifty states. In 2011, Jennifer set the fastest known time (male or female) on the Appalachian Trail by hiking 47 miles a day for 46 days straight. She is the founder of the Blue Ridge Hiking Company in North Carolina and the author of hiking memoirs and guidebooks.
Jennifer will be sharing slides and stories, answering questions and reading excerpts from her new book, Called Again, which chronicles her record-breaking A.T hike. Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing after the program.
