This program will include an introduction to permaculture, its ethics and design principles, and permaculture applications for land care; what soil is, its formation and principles of cycling and regeneration, the elements & functions of temperate forest ecosystems; soil chemistry, biology & energy; the healing power of soil and ways humans have interacted with soils since way back; & methods of applying natural principles of soil care combined with human creative potential for improving soils faster than nature can, including adaptations of biomimicry methods of creating topsoils, green waste management, human and animal waste management, and radical, empowering methods of soil generation wherever and whenever you are, from containers, raised beds, small yard plots, large land areas, to pavement, concrete, gravel, patches of sidewalk, roadside edges, roofs and more. Come for a jam-packed information session with free herbal tea too 🙂
