Tyler Kruszewski is offering to hold a plant walk/workshop at a local park.  We will be meeting at the main entrance to Glen Providence Park.
What: Join friends of Transition Town for a plant walk + workshop with local land steward and herbalist Tyler Kruszewski.
Where/When: Glen Providence main entrance at the 500 block of West State Street, Media PA, 4pm on June 25.
We’ll meet at the park entrance and the workshop will run for about 2 hours.
  • How to identify, harvest, process, and consume common herbs growing right outside your doorstep
  • An overview of the local food web, how to ethically harvest, and tips for being a good partner with the land
  • Common applications of local herbs to promote health and wellness
There is no charge for this walk.  Tyler is donating his time to lead us on this talk.
As a separate but linked event, we’ll be holding a fire circle at 7PM afterwards (weather permitting) in Drexel Hill.
Please let Skip Shuda (sshuda@gmail.com) know of your interest in attending the fire circle and he’ll send you the address (and add
you to our fire circle list).
