Join POWER in demanding fair and fully-funded education for Pennsylvania’s children!
POWER Metro’s Education Apartheid Day of Action will take place on Wednesday, June 21st, at the State Capitol in Harrisburg. On that day, folks from across POWER’s sphere of influence will gather to speak with elected officials, decry the racial disparity in education funding, and demand legislative action. The goal is to send a clear message to elected officials: people of faith demand a moral education budget. You’ll find the event flyer here. Please note that bus transportation will be provided to and from Harrisburg for those who need it, but the route will depend on RSVPs, so please let Will Fuller know if you’d like to ride up with us. – Will Fuller, POWER Metro Suburban Organizer |
