3rd THURSDAY EVENINGS—PYM LIBRARY PRESENTS NEW FILM SERIES
Matthew Bennett has explored in depth many aspects of Transition Town culture. In a series of three evenings (March 21, April 18 and May 16) he will present his insights based on permaculture thinking, with film clips to illustrate, and ample time for discussion. For anyone interested in learning more about a Transition Town perspective on our society, this series will be informative and stimulating fun.
The evening will start at 6:00 and the presentation, including discussion is about 2 hours. We will provide a pot of yummy soup. You are welcome to bring a little potluck to add to the repast but please keep it simple and healthy. Bring your own bowls/plates/utensils if you can! $5 suggested donation. All are welcome.

“Setting the Jello in the New Mold: Making Dollars Out of Sense”
In this last of the series, we will learn how to apply Permaculture Design to Urban, Suburban or Rural development. Coach Bennett will share from his personal experience organizing work-parties with Philly Food Forests and Occupy Vacant Lots. Then, empowered with the potentials of this new eco-social approach, we will imagine some new “busy-ness” models for getting things done, while having fun & benefiting everything under the sun. Yuck! …Idealism alone is for suckers, though, so we’ll touch on Financial Permaculture & eco-systemic enterprises for investing with true economic security & ecological sustainability.
