TTM is initiating a Re-Skilling Group, beginning with a start-up discussion meeting on Sunday May 19. We will discuss the group’s goals and framework, and find out what projects and skills people want to develop.
Our Re-Skilling workshops begin on Sunday June 2, and will be held the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
We are going to start by practicing our favorite crafts. Starting with sewing, fiber arts and baking, we intend to expand our range of skills to include home repair projects of all types. Let us know the skills and crafts you want to learn, or that you want to practice and pass on to the greater community.
Bring clothing or equipment in need of repair, or bring projects you want to work on. We can teach each other as we provide the fellowship while we work. Most of all, we will have fun together accomplishing our projects.
Mark your calendars for the 1st & 3rd Sunday afternoon workshops (2:00 – 5:00 pm), starting in June.
We will meet in private homes and will communicate locations by email. The 1st Sundays will be at Linda Clark’s house. Send a message to her (lindaclark1@earthlink.net) for our meeting location addresses. We hope to see you on the 19th!
