William Shakespeare, George Fox, and Walt Whitman – what do these 3 have in common? – a talk and discussion by Diana & John Lampen.
One of the last things Whitman wrote was a comparison of the contributions of Shakespeare and Fox to the human spirit. We shall take this as a starting point, and explore the contrast he found. John will ask what Shakespeare gives us and why he refuses to tell us what to think; and we shall look at some film clips. Diana will speak about the core of George Fox’s message.
Visiting British Friends, Diana and John Lampen, are teachers and lifelong peacebuilders.
