So perhaps you’ve heard about the People’s Climate March (PCM) – it’s going to be the single largest climate justice rally in human history. We have a goal of bringing 1,500 people from the greater Philadelphia region to New York City on September 21 for the PCM. In order to reach that goal, we want to share insider organizing tips and information with our friends and allies in the Philadelphia area. Come to this organizers’ training to find out how YOU can help make the PCM a rip-roaring success!
350.org is extending invitations to delegations of 1-4 people from any area group that is concerned about climate justice to come to the training. We have a dedicated team of professional organizers coming to Philly with tons of knowledge and inspiration to share. This training will bring together a wide variety of groups that may never have met before to start talking about climate issues. This is an opportunity to broaden the climate movement, to hear about why the climate is important to different stakeholders, and to learn from those who have been in the trenches for years. Take advantage of 350.org‘s resources and expertise to make PCM a turning point for the climate. Who wouldn’t want to be part of the biggest climate march in history?
Come on one or both days; breakfast and lunch are provided on Saturday. Registration is free, but space is limited.
