Transition Town Media’s Media Zero Waste Group and the Media Environmental Advisory Council’s Zero Waste sub-committee will present a panel of experts on the topic of Zero Waste on Mon, April 17 at 7:30pm as part of the Delaware County Institute of Science Lecture Series.
Learn what’s meant by Zero Waste, why it’s important, what Delaware County and Media Borough are doing, what you can do, and how it can be achieved.
Panelists include:
- Alex Danovich, Nothing Left to Waste, LLC
- Faran Savitz, PennEnvironment’s Zero Waste Advocate
- Erica Burman, local Zero Waste advocate with the Chester Residents Concerned for Quality of Living (CRCQL) and member of the Media Environmental Advisory Council’s Zero Waste committee
- Rebecca Yurkovich, Delaware County’s Sustainability and Resilience Manager for the Sustainability Commission
- Karen Taussig-Lux, Media Borough Grant Administrator and Recycling Coordinator
