The mission of Transition Town Media (TTM) is to build economic and social resilience in the Greater Media, Pennsylvania community. We support and create local programs and initiatives that:
- Strengthen the local living economy
- Support food and water sovereignty
- Conserve energy and resources
- Build greater community connection
Transition Town Media is part of a worldwide movement to live more sustainably on a planet with finite resources. Across the country and around the world, Transition communities are becoming more resilient by growing their own food, re-learning basic skills, localizing economies, re-thinking health care and transportation, installing solar panels, accessing the talents and energy of youth, honoring the wisdom of elders and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
