Welcome the “Black History 101 Mobile Museum” to Chester on Thursday, March 1st.
The Black History 101 Mobile Museum, a collection featuring more than 5,000 rare treasures, including original documents from historic black figures whose contributions helped shape the United States, and the “3 Ms” exhibit, which examines Martin Luther King, Jr., Motown and Michael Jackson will be exhibited. Artifacts in this unparalleled mobile collection include items from the eras of slavery and Jim Crow, as well as from music, sports, the civil rights and black power eras, and popular culture.
12PM-4PM: FREE! Museum open to the public.
5PM-9PM: Thursday Night at the Museum (Cost: $20.00)
The evening program includes a lite repast, the museum exhibit, networking and features the 7:00PM talk by Professor Griff of Public Enemy Fame.
