Spend the day in this hands-on interactive workshop learning how to build your own backyard biodigester!
Close the loop from food waste to energy to food production and back again! Come and learn all about how solar energy can be harvested through biodigestion, and how YOU can do this (and TEACH this) in your own back yard or anywhere in the world.
We will take you through a brief history of our organization and will share the practical science of biogas all the way through the process of building a biodigester. This particular training is focused not only on how to build, but how to teach others to build, particularly in the area of missions and humanitarian aid efforts.
You will not go home empty handed! We will provide you with plenty of how to materials and a list of resources for future use. A biogas “kitchen” will be on display and biogas accessories will be available to you that day so you can build a biodigester at home yourself.
