Next year’s gubernatorial race is going to be a big one.

Pennsylvania’s environment is facing huge challenges–and the governor will determine how we tackle them.

That’s why we’re hosting a forum for the gubernatorial candidates to discuss their environmental platform on Monday, Jan. 13th at the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences.

RSVP here to join us. Seating is limited, so please RSVP today.

 Here are the details:

WHAT: Sustainability Governor’s Forum
WHERE: Academy of Natural Sciences, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA
WHEN: January 13th, Doors open at 6 PM, Forum starts at 6:30 PM.
SPONSORS: PennEnvironment, League of Women Voters, Academy of Natural Sciences, Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance, Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania

Fracking is tearing up our state forests, and in coming years, the drilling could invade our state parks. Global warming is fueling extreme weather like Superstorm Sandy–and as the third largest global warming polluter in the nation, Pennsylvania has its work cut out for it. We’re quickly falling behind other states in building a clean energy economy.

RSVP today to hear the candidates talk about what they’ll do to protect Pennsylvania’s environment, our health and our communities.
