The Media-Upper Providence Free Library’s Spring Book Sale debuts at its new location at the Media-Upper Providence Free Library, 1 East Front St. on Saturday April 22 through Monday April 24, 10 AM to 5 PM daily.
The public will enjoy shopping for fiction and non-fiction, children’s books, puzzles & games, CD’s, DVD’s and records in the library’s well lit, wide-aisled, climate controlled and wheelchair accessible basement. Special and collectible books will be on the 2nd floor.
On Saturday, paperbacks are $1, trade paperbacks, most hardbacks are $2. CDs & DVDs are now $2, too! Sunday is half- price day (all but Specials.) Monday’s great values are $5 to fill a grocery bag and half-priced Specials.
Nearby parking lots will be marked with yellow signs; logistics will be posted on Facebook (Media UP Book Sale) and on the Library’s website at http://mediauplibrary.org/book-sale. You can also follow the sale on Twitter and Instagram (@mediaupbooksale) or contact the volunteers at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the library at (610) 566-1918. The twice-yearly Book Sale is run entirely by volunteers and the funds raised are an important part of the library’s operating budget.
In preparation for the sale, we have temporarily stopped accepting donations and ask that additional book donations be held until May 1.
