Join the Middletown Coalition for Community Safety for a day-long training in non-violent direct action.
Make the Movement Move! Action training on how to halt construction of the dangerous Mariner East pipeline. Emphasis will be on implementing disciplined, creative, grounded, and respectful actions that place the safety of our community first.
The training will be experiential – which means it will be engaging, fun, and invite you to try new things and learn from your experiments. We’ll employ a wide range of exercises that will appeal to people with different learning styles and levels of experience.
We are becoming the ones we’ve been waiting for. Gov. Wolf has closed his doors to us. We must make the temporary PUC halt in West Whiteland Township a final halt to this whole pipeline.
The Mariner East is a dangerous pipeline project, carrying highly volatile liquid ethane, putting thousands of people at risk across the state. The ethane will be exported to make plastic.
We’re lucky enough to be joined by Michael Gagné, an educator dedicated to building “democratic capacity” for positive change. With a background in facilitation, training, and grassroots organizing, Michael has worked on a range of environmental and social justice campaigns.
Co-sponsored by Transition Town Media and Food and Water Watch.
